On Friday, October 25, 2024, the official unveiling of Courage! My Soldier took place, an artwork commissioned by the Province of North Holland and the Municipality of Haarlemmermeer, located at NS Station Hoofddorp. This piece brings the hidden defensive structure of the Stelling van Amsterdam into view and connects it to contemporary realities.

Painting, drawing, curating exhibitions, and entrepreneurship — these are my passions, and they energize me.
History and politics are the primary sources of my work. Since living and working at one of the forts of the Stelling van Amsterdam, these themes have become even more prominent in my art.
I enjoy taking the initiative. As an artist, I work from my own thematic perspective, inviting fellow artists to collaborate and exhibit with me. At times, I independently curate exhibitions, both upon invitation and on my own initiative.

I develop exhibitions and take the initiative myself. History and politics are the sources that inspire me. These themes have become even more prominent since I began living and working at one of the forts of the Stelling van Amsterdam.
I enjoy entrepreneurship. As an artist, I work from my own thematic perspective and invite fellow artists to exhibit their work alongside mine. I curate exhibitions independently, selecting unique and inspiring locations and exhibition spaces.
In doing so, I take care of funding, acquisition, selection, planning, and, when necessary, management, all within an entrepreneurial model.
I am always searching for themes rooted in current events. My interest in historical processes and parallels serves as a foundation for exhibitions.
